I am hitting pause on the Northern Hardwood Resilience blog series for the next few weeks while my regional fieldwork trip is underway.

Conducting qualitative interviews across multiple states and provinces requires significant logistical coordination. Balancing long highway miles, scheduled stakeholder meetings, and the daily routine of setting up and breaking down camp leaves very little time to sit down with a laptop.

I am capturing extensive field notes, observation data, and ideas for future NHR blog posts as I move through the landscape. However, processing these raw concepts into polished, well-structured pieces requires uninterrupted focus, which is in short supply on the road.

While regular long-form updates are on hold, you can stay connected with the project through existing resources on the site. I will resume regular publishing once I am back from the field and have integrated these insights into the broader research workflow.
